Am I supposed to feel happy? Sad? Or even... angry?
But nope.
All I have is this empty...void... that I can't possibly fill.
Maybe I'm tired. WTH I can't be bothered anymore.
I mean, what can I do? What can I say?
Hehh.
So I spent the whole day sitting around listening to my mp3, watching a game of Frisbee while my mind wandered off.
Things gradually went uphill as the day progressed, and once again I felt so glad I'm in ALPs.
Brandon showed us Detective Galileo! Like so ZOMG right!!!
Oh sheesh I'm turning into a crazy fangirl again.
The first episode of Galileo featured two of my favourite actors, Karasawa Toshiaki (Shiroi Kyoto, Zaizen Goro; Kobayakawa Nobuki no Koi as the title guy; Love Complex as Ryuzaki Go; 20th Century Boys, Kenji) and Fukuyama Masaharu (Perfect Love)!!! The two of them, along with with Kamikawa Takaya (Hanazakari no Kimitachi e as the gay doctor; Shiroi Kyoto as the lawyer) and the ever so fascinating Johnny Depp complete the list of my favourite actors, ever. XD And yes, I do realize they average around 40+ years of age. =.=
BUT GALILEO! I fell in love with the show the very first time I set my eyes on it, when it was showing on channel 56 (dubbed and all) during the promos period eeps. XD It's very similar to Numb3rs or even CSI, involving a genius using science to solve crimes. I see a very strong link between Galileo and Numb3rs, haha. Yukawa Manabu (a.k.a. Galileo) is like the Math professor Charlie in so many ways.
Before I stepped into the cinema, I had no idea I would be staring at Karasawa Toshiaki's face for the next two hours. MY GAWD Karasawa is the male lead in 20th Century Boys! Fancy that! And here's another catch - his sister in this movie is the woman Zaizen Goro had an affair with in Shiroi Kyoto (白色巨塔)! XD
OMG I really can't believe this. I just chanced upon a movie by my favourite actor (besides JDepp, that is), 4 years after Shiroi Kyoto's release!
I'm really glad he's doing so well in his career. :D
That aside, I think 20th Century Boys is a decent movie. I know the rest think otherwise, but... XD Haha I'm biased.

Of names and... WHY? Monday, October 13, 2008
RIJC.
Heh, what the freak is RIJC.
A foreign name... of a place I do not belong.
So frivolous, so bloody superficial.
And what's with all the reassurance that there will be dialogue sessions to get feedback from us?
Bullshit.
Please. Who are you trying to kid? Nobody cares what we think. Everything is done, written in ink for the whole of Singapore to see before we get our say.
Wow. Everything the adults do, they have their reasons. The adults do what they feel is right for everyone. Do you see that? THEY FEEL. Not WE FEEL. THEIR. Not OUR. So the all supreme adults are almighty and righteous? HAH.
It's simple for you to pass this off as teenage angst.
BUT I guess we just need to be convinced that it is worth all the trouble.
[My reply to a post on unruly behaviour by some MD fans... I shall spare you from the details. I feel that this summarizes my thoughts and feelings on fandom in general (AND it's in English! XD]
ME:
Freak seriously?! 0.0 Well thankfully I've never seen that happening before and I doubt I'll ever go fetch them or send them off again. I'll stick to watching concert DVDs and listening to their CDs. -.-
And I get damn annoyed by people taking pictures or videos during a concert or any performance for that matter. You can call it camera-sensitive, but seriously. =.= It's so sneaky, and won't they feel naked and exposed when cameras are pointing at them from all angles? Perhaps one may shrug it off as the price of fame, but as appreciators of their music, shouldn't we at least try to help them reduce that? And it's not even climbing Mt. Everest or something of that scale. Simply follow what you are told to do at the start of every concert (at least the ones I've been to).
Till now I've always adopted the see-no-evil kind of stance on videoing and phototaking. I know it's not a brave thing to do, I'm ashamed of that. But I still cannot muster up the courage to stop the people around me from doing so, especially when I'm alone (like during Superband finals).
Well fandom (or appreciation of music, whatever you choose to call it) is about 眾樂樂 not 獨樂樂. I don't understand why some 'fans' are brimming jealousy and are so disturbingly possessive of their 'idols' (i personally don't think it's appropriate to call md a subject of idolization, but that is another issue althogether), it's simply selfishness and truly, the exposure of the ugly side of human nature.
AH that's my rather extremist viewpoint, a spurt of the moment kind of reaction and probably more emotions than logic are used here. Please pardon me if it is deemed offensive.
