Phifteen!
COol.
Today:
Went to school for make-up lessons. Physics and Chem. Pppft. Anyway. Was rather early. When I reached school and going towards the yellow staircase, saw red dust moving in front. I was like huh? Before realizing it's red dustbin. -.- So gross! As in a RED dustbin. Totally redness. Like Swim carn that morning. Anyway. I was like 'Did dust wear like that to celebrate my b'dae?' LOL! Cos it's hard to see dust on a Sat, and somemore in red! As if it's chinese new year. Or national day. -.- Haha must be something impt/great is happening today right? And I can think of a great reason. My b'dae! Lol. Skip the next part if you are not interested in dustbins. ^^
Then. Nancy came to school. So the both of us walked towards the place I last saw the red dustbin, and peeped in. Sure enough, Dust's there. Then we tried to freak the 303 fish out. oops. haha. Sorry ling! Then. Dust actually walked out. Towards the hall. I was like huhh? The dustbin can walk? oopft. Went upstairs. Waits. Went out again. Zan Nan and I observed the bin actually opening its 'mouth' and talking. -.- To another bin i think. ppft. Then Dust went back to where it came from, and I thought of the geart idea of observing from another place! And apparently the place I went to observe was right above the Dust. It just have to look up!and see us. Yay. Nan walked of. I continued till I realized it went off. Again. So again, went to the original observing area. Observed for another while. Then Mr Singh came. The end.Oh. Physics. Had 'fun' arguing with Singh what the answer should be. Ok it's mostly Cynthia Liting and a few others (including nancy) arguing over the circle thing and the +0 -0 thing. Haha. Very amusing. King of the day lol. Oh. Mr Singh's wearing red. What's with red today, anyway? Oh and the iron wooden ball thing. Yep. So interesting. At least it's not boring. 2hrs later, which is 11, we took a 5min break then it's chem time.
[oh btw the spherical geometry is amusing. the GREAT circle = a straight line! Who'l have thought of that? Cool. Ahhs.]
Chem. Mole concept. It's basically mental calculations of addition and multiplications. Oh wells. The grains of sand in Miami beach as a comparison to how great the amount of atoms is in one gram is so.. interesting! I was like 'CSI MIAMI!!! HORATIO!!!'. kk.
Went orchard road! With lin. Ate lunch at lido with lin and pingfang. Oh. lin's new hairstyle is really NICE. Haha. Go see! (: dont kill me lin2. but it's really flat. And straight. I'll call it a fish-bowl haircut. Nice. Watched The Wild. Well. It's just lamee. I wanna watch DVC (da vinci code) because the advertisement in orchard mrt is so tempting. Plus. I've read the book. So No harm done. (: Wanna watch it cos of Tom Hanks. Not that I like him or sth. But i want to see how he act as Robert Langdon. That'll be interesting. Will he change my perception of the protagonist? I wonder.
Oh. The show's super lamee. Ahh. Then there's the robot guy outside lido! It though he's a robot k! Only when lin and pingfang told me (pf with the glare) that it's a real guy impersonating a robot, I realized that it's a human! I mean. He's so robot! His face look robot! Manns. I was so freaked out when he wanted to shake hand s with me! So freaky. But it's definately sth new. Adds life to orchard. heez.
Went home. (:
Hip hop!!! KK today is like the best lesson ever ever. And I've taken 28 lessons le. Ok. It's a fun lesson cos this guy came. Instead of Kay or whatever our original teacher is called. He is so funny! Ok ok. when we first went into the room (me and the innovation jc gal ^^) I was like 'who the heck is he?'. yeah. he was wearing this Jordan shirt and hip-hopish jeans with chains. It's so hip hop larh. Then warming up. The moves are so different from kay's! We (the six of us) kept giving each other 'huh?' looks. But afterwards a pattern started to form. His warming up routine reminds me of the prisilla-loh look-a-like! I think they share the same dance teacher or sth. Then came the real steps. Instead of the femine-moves that kay teaches (which makes me feel uncomfortable), the moves he taught us are so guy! rather cool. When he was teaching us those moves I thought he reminds me of wilber pan. Though Wilber is zillion times better. Haha. Sorry. Anyways. I like the moves. They are shuai k. Some of the moves are so funny! We just laughed and laughed and laughed, and grinned non-stop during the lesson. He was quite encouraging too. What a nice change. Oh then came the hip action plus the circular movement thing. Then the four of us completely lost it. The way he did was so funny! The last move was funny too. The thrusting hand and hip movement. So lol. His moves are sleek. Kay's are sharp. Co0l. Of course, as usual I just anyhow do and the go home. But heard my fellow dance mates asking him some stuff. Apparently he learn from some guy whose centre is situated in Millinieum Avenue. Ok. ok.
M!! M rocks. Mac Taylor rocks. Just watched 2X21 again. Poor stella. Mac!!! Where is the sMACkedness? sadness.
Spirited Away is nice. Was watching it last week agian. The forth time watching. The Animal-Baby is cute! And the miniture crow is cute too!

14yrs and 364days. One more day to go.
As I sit in this darkened room, typing out this post, I feel lost, in the empty space surrounding me. Why am I here?
So for this [almost] 15yrs, have I lived up to my name? Have I done something I'll regret for my whole life? Have I even done anything that I can be proud of? What is the meaning of my existence in this world? What can I contribute to the community?
The last two days before I am eligible to get an I.C. Before I become a sort-of adult. Hoho.
Firstly. Dustbins. I know I'll get it from Nancy for this, but Dustbins make up a huge part of my life. Thursday, apparently

discreet. Like totally unobvious. Like WOW. With her fake coughs, and Dustbin walking right past us (with total greenness that can blind someone), I bet the whole world knows. And from the look of it (from both Nancy and my POV), it is sort of true. blearghh. BUT! Today morning is fun. It's just so cool k! Green+black totally rocks. The best colour combi ever. Super cool. But I prefer last year's green. This year has been either blinding green or dark green that looks like it's black. Last year. Remember? General Office! Green! Plus black jack! Mac Taylor!!
Mac taylor is so nice! Just watch episode 2X20 and 2X21! Poor Danny and Stella. And NICE Mac conforting them! Esp. the Mac hug with Danny and Mac talking to Stella. So sweet! Who says he is just a 51/61 year old guy? Btw he's 51, to put the record straight. NOT 61. Sighh how can Huimin de PRO make such a mistake?

AHHH. CSI NY MIAMI LV ROCK!!! Yayy. Horatio. Mac. Grissom. Calleigh. Stella. Catherine. Ryan. Danny. Nick. Yelina?! Linsay/Aiden. Sara. Flack. Hawks. Hammerback. LALALA. Greg. WHEE. CSI! Just watch one/two episodes and you'll know why I love it so much!
Npcc Sea!
Ok. Today's NPCC is so.. fun. We had our seamanshiptest today! Knots! Life-Saving Applicances! Nautical Terms! So fun. Haha. Marcus sir passed all of us I think! Woah. So nice. ^^ Lime green day-feed shirt! Cool. Long sleeved marine blue shirt! Yayy. I think Npcc shirts will rock. Haha.
Was watching undisclosed or sth. The 9-10pm channel 8 daily drama. Not too bad. Quite interesting. Just very unrealistic. UNLIKE CSI. Which is so real! Well perhaps not Miami. Miami is plain weird. But Horatio and Calleigh rock so nevermind! NY is nice. Stella's incident is too drama but we viewers love the excitement! And anyway the script writers managed to plan it well so there aren't as many loop holes as undisclosed. But truthfully, huang bi ren is ok. Not bad. ^^
Oh. For the past 1hr or so, some PAP's truck drove past my block THRICE with the loudspeakers going 'Support XXX. Support PAP!' Haha. Quite entertaining. And the guy was speaking in more than 4 or equals to 4 languages. Ahh. Not bad. Some of the PAPs on the truck was waving to us lol. Ok all of them were waving. Haha.
Why does my vote matters? 'Cos that shows how much you care. lol.

sudoku challenge

Went for Northland Sec School's NPCC National Sudoku Challenge. Same team with Eelyn.
Prelim round. We thought we'll get to the revival round, since we erased everything half way through and barely managed to finish within the time limit. Instead, we were the last team to squeeze into the quaterfinals without the revival round.
Quaterfinals. Was ok, but still much slower than the rest, since we erased our puzzle half-way through, again.
Semi-finals. 15 teams now. 2 puzzles. Thanks to eelyn, we were the 6th team.
Finals. We finished rather fast I guess.. and we got 2nd! Woohoo. Eelyn rocks. She's DA PRO!!! I couldnt believe it k. At first we went for the competition just for fun. Eelyn first played Sudoku in Feb this year. Me too. ^^ Eelyn rocks.

raffles book day

Woah. Today such an eventful day.
NVM. Talk about Thursday first.
Ytd is our school's first ever Raffles Book Day! Yep. It's fun 'cos as a class we had to decided on our 'favourite' book, then design the front and back of the book, using the front and back doors of the classroom as the front and back cover of the book! Our class used Howl's Moving Castle as the book! Sarah and Lin^2's drawing of the castle totally rocks. And Jessica's painting of the castle is so professional! So WOAH. Oh we also had the drawing of Michael (the apprentice), Howl and Sophie! They look really like the characters in the movie! Square Sarah Yadi Jessica u all are so pro! Oh not forgetting JN and Chew!!! The Howl and Sophie running in the air! ^^ Oh and we had to dress up as characters in the book too! Me, I am the scarecrow. So stupid right. Haha. But it's fun. The national library was there too! Borrowed 3 books!
Today. After PE volleyball, we went for a conversion session with these two guys. They are cai shen jiang and one ming sth, who laughed in such a weird way! Was laughing at his laughter. Oh yeah the cai shen jiang guy was rather funny I think.. And then both of them wanted us to tell them our opinion, so huimin da chair of noob club and me, vice-chair of noob club, dared suyin da noob and mingyue da equally noob to go up and talk, in exchange for 100k. Haha sounds like a good deal right? For a level 6 noobie some more. And BOTH suyin and mingyue actually stood up and talked!!! Huimin and I couldn't stop laughing. LOLL.
Then saw dustbin thrice!!!! I am trilled. Oh. It's four times. Morning assembly, afternoon assembly, rs, pft incline pullup. I was so shocked seeing dustbin there k, and we were right beside dust! Nancy said dust sounds gay. okayy. I was trying to convince her otherwise. Anyway. Then dust was free and just sat there staring at us. Felt rather bad, 'cos I don't want to embarrass myself in front of dustbin! I knew I was going to fail.
And I did. WOW. ok. I have completely given up hope on it. I didn't feel like retaking the test today, neither did I want to take the test on any other day. I feel like hecking about it. I know this is really a bad attitude, but so what if your fail a station and get As and Bs for other stations? Or what if you get a E for all your stations? What they want is well-roundedly fit. Which some people cannot achieve, since some people are born with the ability to jump and others, like me, are born with unspringly legs and weak arms. So? What can we do about it? Train?! But sometimes things are not so simple, and a test like this is not even meaningful, IMHO. Why do they have to test us on every single thing, grade us in all ways? I mean, you cannot force a person to do your 3 pullups, the 142cm jumps, or the 20 situps. It is not even a test of your fitness level, since that can only be tested by a qualified doctor. What are they, judging us by our strength, flexibility etc etc? So just take it that they think this type of 'physical fitness' tests are essential, then I feel that music and arts are essential too, to develop a more all-rounded being and to appreciate culture and so on. So why don't we have a national music test or some MS playing test, since playing is important in life too! Ok I am rambling. Maybe because I am a sore loser, you may say. But no, I am not sad, I am not angry. I am just stating my opinion. Oh. Actually I don't mind failing my test and retaking it in august, then retaking again. I have all the time in the world (for such pointless stuffs).
Anyways! Went for NPCC after that. Learnt tying knots! ^^ Just sat there watching the rest. Marcus and gang is supposed to come, according to Mr Ganesh, but again, only Marcus Sir came. Helped us get our ropes for knot-tying. So after the lesson learnt tying knots from serene and tammy and the rest. So helpful! Now I can tie some basic knots!!! Yayy. I love the rabbit-hole method. So fun. Then went looking for Ling. Went to 303 classroom which is right beside the classroom we were using for npcc. Stayed for quite long. After like 20 mins, we went to canteen to look for Ling, and Sir and Mr Ganesh were still outside the E105 classroom next to RTC room, talking. Ehhs. They were there for like more than 20 minutes? haha. Went home! The end. Tml going to Northland Sec with Eelyn, for some NPCC stuffs. We're going to embarrass ourselves and ruin the school's reputation.

npcc sea

Today, I realize what NPCC is truly about. Today, I have more fun than I ever had. Today, is such an eventful day. Today, I realize that NPCC sea is what my heart truly lies in. Today is such a GREAT day.
Firstly, eelyn, yihui and I were late, because Yan and Ling both felt unwell, and so we postponed the time we meet and go to school together. Yep. And guessed what, when we just came out of 190, we realized they left without us!!!!! sighh. So we are supposed to get to the HarbourFront Jetty there by ourselves. At first we wanted to go home instead, but at minute changed our minds and took mrt to Harbour Front. Then, we wanted to take taxi, but the uncle pointed out to us that we're just next to it! Haha. Apparently it's deep inside some shopping centre. So we ran and finally found the rest of the rgnpcc people. Felt rather maluated. Haha. Cos we're late and everyone was waiting for us. After some waiting and stuff, got onto the cruise. At first it was just some introduction, and lecturing. In order not to let whatever happened during obs kayaking to repeat, I ate fisherman's friend in dozens and dozens, one after another. And guess it helped, 'cos after a while I stopped eating it but didnt get seasick at all throughout the whole journey. So i guess [hope] that I'll get any more of those motion sickness. Whee. Then we used the seaman binoculars and had fun escaping from the bugs [cockroaches, to be specific] that seemed to infest this place. Haha. And jiacong and some others are so funny! I think we made the most noise out of the three schools present there [ACS (sea) and Springfield (land)]. Oops. =[ Might have irritated them. We're just an extremely enthusiastic batch+one sec2! Haha. Even our erm Ma'am and Sir were amused. Ok maybe exasperated by us. Or mildly irritated. And very amused. Okaayy. Then we smelled chicken mushroom instant noodles!!! And got hungry and sat in front of the food counter (is that what u call it?) and waiting for lunch to come.. Finally it did! Hohoho. Ate lunch, still wary of cockroaches. Then after lunch we switched stations with Springfield, and learnt how to read maps. And itw as fun! Haha. Had quite a bit of laughter. After that, we just slacked. At first we played games, but after that quite a few of us fell asleep. Hmm. The TV was showing some cartoon and it was coupled with laughter from the others who were not sleeping -.-'''. Then we woke up and had some lectures again, on piracy and the duty of coastal guards and stuffs. Rather interesting. Listened to this NPCC song. After that, we celebrated birthday for the April borns. -hint hint. what is coming? :)- [Apparently there's this guy in ACS who's born today! First of April! How cool is that? Besides black friday, this is the best day to be born in, IMHO. Haha. 7 April borns altogether I think. Three from our school, three from another school and our Sea Instructor. Marcus Sir. Oh he and our Ma'am are both really really nice! (: 'cos they are so funny, doesn't scold us for being so noob, and are incredibly patient with us. ahh. That's why being a noobie is fun k! (: haha.] anyway. [whee ser! Aprils rock rightt.] Cake! Served cake. Had tea break. Had some fun. Reached the destination. Err then we were dismissed! Whee. Went home by train. Then when I came out of the train, saw my hhd instructor. -.-''' She saw me I think. Then I just fixed my specs, went for the class. When I went into the studio, she was like 'I saw you just now I think. You were the one in front on me right?' and I had to say yes. Haha. I daoed her! (:
So now, sitting here, I summarize today. I think NPCC sea is really fun and exciting, unlike what some people perceive the CCA as. Our batch is a fun batch, and I had more laughter today than I thought I could ever have. Maybe this CCA is more suited for me, I don't know. I just feel that I am not the CO type, who'll sit down there and prac/play all day long. I am those type who wants challenges and excitement in life and NPCC sea definitely has provided me with that, from the few sessions we had. I thought maybe I'll quit next year, if juggling two CCAs get tiring. But from the look of it, I'll struggle to my last bit and not letting it go. It's like realizing a childhood dream, to a certain extent. I've always wanted to be a policeman/woman when I was young, before wanting to become a detective (read too much Sherlock Holmes and Hardy Boys man), and then I read James Bond and thought being a CIA is cool, and then X-files came along and being a FBI agent seemed to be a great career choice, and now, I love CSI (esp. NY! but that's out of the point) and wants to be a forensic scientist. BLOOD! Yum. haha. WHEE. So, now I am having a start there, huhh. And I've always loved the sea, partly influenced by my grandparents, who were both from the Navy!! Haha.
