Suffering from MayDay Withdrawal Syndrome [MWS]. Gosh. I was so occupied with thoughts about MayDay, that I neglected my revision. -.- Zzz only started on weds. But as I've always been a last minute mugger, I was able to study just enough stuff to pass my tests [hopefully]. And guess what! I finally understand what mole concept is about [after like a year?], and I think my Chem had improved drastically during the weekend. Haha. =/ But I'll probably still get some lousy grades anyway. So whatever. Biology was dots, 'cos I studied the day [night] before the test, and I still over-studied. As in, I went to memorize the unimportant stuffs, and missed out on the key points. In fact, for this test, they focused more on the micro concepts than macro concepts, like they are more interested about things molecular wise, not the bigger picture. Ahh.
Watched the Final Home extras! Was really really very touched by some of the clips. Like Guan You proposing to his gf clip [now their kid is like months old le..], the Malaysia Final Home [It rained throughout the whole day, and they kept having technical problems] and the Hong Kong Final Home [Some of the things they said were touching]. There was even a S'pore Final Home clip, which was pretty funny [The Dao Cao Ren game!!], and they played the First Day MV along with the S'pore Final Home clip!!! Woohoo!! I love First Day. It's one of my favourite MayDay songs. Plus Bie Ren/Salted Fish and some of their earlier works. (: MayDay rockkers.
Xiao Shitou was born on 26th March 2007. Shuhui smsed me on that night, and when I recieved the message, I felt so happy for Gou Gou and Shitou! But at the same time, I was thinking 'Isn't he due in April?!' Behhs. There are so few April babies around. Only Masa. (:
Can't wait for JUNE!!! Lemme JUMP and Leave the Earth's Surface with MayDay and fellow MayDay fans!!! Woots. Apparently, the ticket sales are so good that they are now adding extra $128 and $108 seats. (: I don't know if it's a good thing for me, but whatever! If MayDay's so popular, I should be HAPPY!
Lala. Shall start doing Chinese and SS PT. BEHHs. NPCC tmr. Oh good luck to those people having SYF next week! Especially Chinese Orchestra. (: Go ZhongHu!! Even though I'm not part of CO anymore, I know my juniors and batchmates will be capable of doing something great. Miracles do happen, yea? (x And band! Yep good luck Nancy Divya and Yadi! Yesterday's Ren Ci was quite disappointing.. Because MayDay only sang Tian Shi! [Very expected song] Ah Ashin looked like a prince! 王子阿信！(: So cute. And when he said '离开悲伤的地球表面', all of us MayDay fans were like LOL! Haha he's so cunning larh. It's obvious he was making references to 'JUMP!离开地球表面演唱会', which was what they were promoting in Singapore, and Ashin himself was smiling when he said that line.. So cute! He really knows how to play with words.. It's like he was promoting the concert/making a pun out of it. Wah. He really knows how to 把握时机！' Took a few pictures of him on TV.. My mum took them. Haha. And some pics from Friday..
Today. Guess what. I just did the craziest thing ever. After Friday. Bernice asked me to go to the airport to send them off with me. So I did.
Thus, I went to the airport, alone yet again, by train. Reached there at 7 am. That's like the time I normally reach school on a school day? Was feeling pretty weird 'cos I was wearing my class tee plus culottes and people were staring at me. ): Maybe they were wondering what I was doing at this hour. When I reached, took skytrain to terminal 1 and checked out the timing of the flight and the belt/gate number. Actually there was only one gate there, so it's quite obvious they'll be entering from there... The gate wasn't even open for passengers of that flight. So I thought I'll have to wait for another hour or so. Apparently, the flight was due to Guang Zhou. Which makes perfect sense, since they are supposed to be going to China for 校园演唱会. [Wah I want May Day to come rg leh.. But that’ll never happen.] Bernice was still on her way, and I was smsing her and Shuhui, still feeling damn weird, because I really stood out in the crowd, like a sore thumb, because I was wearing orange and obviously in school U.
So after smsing Shuhui, I looked up, and saw this group of people hurrying towards me. So being kay poh, I looked at them [who won't?]. Then, everything seemed to happen really fast. First, I saw someone wearing green and black specs walking towards me, and glancing at me for a sec or so, before turning to his friend. So I was thinking, 'Woah that person really looks like Guan You..' Then right after that, a guy wearing purple top and huge sun glasses also turned to look at me for 2 seconds or so. So in my mind I was thinking, huh he looks like Monster.. Beside him was another familiar looking person, who's totally a carbon copy of Shi Jie. Confuesed, I just stood rooted to the spot. For a few seconds, my brain could not process what I saw, and I stared dumbly/blankly/like a total fool at the group of them, while they were ushered towards the VIP area to go through the gate. Finally, after like ages [actually it's just 2 secs or so], my brain unfroze itself, and I started to see the picture. I was like mouthing 'OMG is that them?' And then I saw ASHIN!!! Our dearest 王子 and 包子! He was wearing a black coat and jeans, and looking as if he came out of a comic book or sth. So 美少男 lol! [Ah I really shouldn't say that. That's so not 摇滚.' So I walked closer, still speechless, as they just zoomed past me into the checking in area. GOSH! Everything happened so fast, I was still in a state of confusion.Then excitement hit me, and I finally realized that it was indeed May Day, 第一摇滚乐团! The presence of Ashin confirmed it. So I ran to the glass pane that separates us and the checking point, and started snapping away, while the few of them queued up at the counter. I think I must have looked insane lah, 'cos I was the only one taking so many pictures of them. In fact, the only one taking pictures.. Guan You looked towards my direction while queuing, but obviously he wasn't looking at me.. [I hope! Because it's quite embarrassing to be taking pics after pics.. I felt as if I'm a paparazzo.] Then I saw Masa too haha. He was in green too! But I totally couldn't spot Stone, or maybe that's because I was concentrating on taking pics of Ashin, Guan You, Monster and Masa.. Haha. Am I a 花吃？Then Thea appeared beside me! She went like 'I'm going to report to your mum!' I was quite shocked to see her, but I just told her 'Today no school mah!', then continued snapping away. Ahh today was full of surprises. Like MayDay checking in more than an hour early.. I was totally taken back by their brief appearance that my brain just went bonkers. -.- Couldn't register what I saw. ANYWAYs, finally seeing somebody I know, I started gushing and highing! So she and her friend [also from the forum (:] asked me to chill lol. But I couldn't, and the excitement just kept seeping in.. Regretting that I did not even say bye to them even though I had the perfect chance to do so [I mean, they just walked right past me while I just stayed rooted to the spot! I could have like called their names or sth, but I didn't! I stayed sane! Which is URGHH!], I just jumped and waved through the glass. They didn't notice me. :( Bahh. By then, they were finished with their checking in.. [ahh they took exceptionally long.. Did the guy at the counter purposely slowed the pace down to give us (alright, me) a chance to snap more pics? (:] So they just zoomed off. Eeks. They 来也快，去也快.. Ahh! They shouldn't have chionged and chionged.. Never even gave me the chance to be mentally prepared! Still, I think both Monster and Ashin have the superstar aura, especially the former, and even if you didn't know who MayDay was, you would have somehow guessed it out. You can really tell. Ah. And Ashin looked so shuai and tall! (:
So that's how I sent them off. By taking a few lousy quality pics of them. :( I don't know what I should feel.. Happy, that I managed to catch a glimpse of them.. Or sad, 'cos I didn't manage to say farewell? Ahh whatever. Tell me what you think.
MAYDAY ROCKS! Shuhui and I have decided to fly over to Taiwan for their concerts when we get out of school! WHOOSH. Can you imagine, MayDay will be in their 40s, and everyone will get high together!!! (:
Yesterday, went for Mayday's autograph session cum mini concert at IMM. At first, didn't feel like going, cause nobody was willing to go with me. :( Haiz why ain't there any May Day fans in my social circle? But in the end I still went, alone, and I am really glad I did, because I had such a fabulous time yesterday, with fellow May Day fans from the forum and people who queued up near us. (:
So let's start from the beginning. Rushed off to IMM at around 11+, and reached there at 12+. The shuttle bus was really slow to come! Saw a few May Day fans around, (because hello, they were carrying the U weekly with Mayday in the cover!) but didn't say hi haha. So when I reached IMM, went straight to the sistic counter in level 2 to find Bernice, this gal from the forum I've never met before. (: She was queuing up in front of the counter, with another person from the forum, whom I believe is called Shihui. She's Sec4 too! Anyway, the queue wasn't exactly THAT long, but it was slow like hell. According to Shihui and Bernice, they have queued for 3 hrs or so le, and the queue didn't really move much. The security guard was kind of fierce? He kept chasing me away from the queue, 'cos I think he thought I was trying to cut queue. But I still managed to get my way haha. Passed my money to Bernice they all. Then after that, I smiled at this woman standing at the side near Macs with me, and she smiled at me too. So she asked me whether I'm from the forum. And that's how we started talking to each other lol. We talked mostly May Day stuffs haha. Then after that, Bernice came out of the queue to rest a bit, so we chatted for another half an hour or so. By that time, Shihui finally managed to reach the first row of the queue. So we joined her, and talked some more. There were two people from China behind us in the queue, one just back from work. So I chatted with the two. We just talked about life in China and S'pore. (: Me friendly person! Haha j/k. There was another lady behind those two, and we talked some more. -.- So basically we passed time talking. The queue was really long, if you count in the time taken for them to process one ticket. Besides the four rows near the counter, the security had been ushering people to the corridor next to Macs to queue up, and it's only when some people finished buying tickets, that some of those queuing next to Macs could join in the main queue. 0.o As for Sistic.. They were really really slow can, and some people were buying ticktes in bulks. Of course people complained larh. So this lady appeared from nowhere, and explained to us that sistic runs in one single system, and that all the online booking and the bookings from the other sistic outlets run in that single system, and that explains why it's so slow. She also asked us to go upstairs once we finished collecting our tickets so that we could catch the concert. She seemed quite sure of things, so I thought maybe she's in charge of the event or sth, and me, being me, asked her why she's here. Haha I know it's pretty dots but I was really curious mah. So she said she was not going for the May Day event, and she was just there to 'kay poh'. 0.o Such a mysterious figure.
So finally, at around 3+? We finally got our tickets! Super happy!!! It's pretty good seats, sixth row I think. The two people behind us in the queue got 150 bucks tick. :( 羡慕ing. I'll get the most ex ticket to a May Day concert once I'm out of school! :( Beahhhs. So Bernice, Shihui and I got our Macs meal and proceed upstairs, where the real queuing began. I got my Gai Ban cd (It's so pretty!! Love the flying car.) and we went through this heavily guarded opening that's essentially a carpeted space cordened off from the rest of the shopping area. When I say guarded, it's really physically blocked by two security guards. And whee hoo, I met the two dear security guards from the sistic downstairs. (: Oh dear. You'll have to be stamped [like a pig] before you can get into the area, but even before that, have to flash the GaiBan or the ticket to them before they gave you the nod. Wows. So we got our seat, sat properly in one straight line in our row (ours was the forth), because you'll get scolded if you don't. -rolls eyes- It was then I started talking to this uni student beside me, cos both of us were mugging lol. The only two that could be seen K-ing. The rest were playing uno [but be careful as you'll get a scolding cos you're not sitting in line] or in Shihui's case, stoning. (: After that, they further annoyed me (okay larh, just made me felt more like a chicken in a coop) by placing barricades between rows. Now, we'll have to stare at people next to our row through holes. Haha so I was complaining to Shihui they all and telling them my analogy. Chickens in a coop. After almost freezing in our lovely neat rows, they told us to stand up in our rows and proceed to the garden plaza. So we did, in our lines, as if we were primary school kids on excursion.
So we got to garden plaza! We settled down and again, interacted with people around us. (: There was a quite on fan beside me with her friends! [On as in going to HK for a May Day concert] One of them kept smiling and looking at me lol! Again, as May Day fans, we all have a common topic - May Day! So we talked and talked. Those people behind us, they are Sec4s too! Table tennis players. One is so so tall 0.o Another is actually more of a Fahrenheit fan than May Day fan. We talked about school stuffs ah, and other random things. The Fahrenheit fan shared with us her experience with Fahrenheit. She went for the K Box union thing. [Jealous, Suchin and gang?] Then this guy called Shi Jie (I think), who's the technician of May Day, was testing the mikes and the sound systems, by playing the guitars of Ashin, Monster, Masa and Stone and singing their songs. I think Ashin's guitar rocks! It's black!! Really pretty. [But in the end he didn't even use it during the concert. Such a disappointment! He looks good playing a guitar.] After they settled the sounds system, they started playing songs from May Day's Born To Love album over and over again. So as enthu May Day fans, we sang along!
Finally, people started standing up cause May Day was late and they were feeling quite restless I suppose? So the security asked us to move in front and I ended up in the second barricade near the side, still with the people queuing up near us. We waited and waited, we sang and sang. Feeling really high! FINALLY, the emcee announced that May Day has arrived at IMM. After waiting for another 15 mins or so, people at the other end started screaming and cheering, so everyone starting screaming and cheering. -.- Cameras started sticking out from the crowd and then! Monster, Stone, Masa and Guan You came up on stage! Everyone cheered. But people suddenly realized there was another member of the band missing, so they went like 'Where's Ashin?' So Ashin appeared, in a white long sleeved shirt plus a tie, and everyone went crazy! They didn't talk at all, but went straight to their first song - Wei Ai Er Sheng. Woah the atmosphere was insane. People moved to the music [with their hands or lightsticks, duh.] and jumped around! Haha I think we were quite enthu larh. We sang along [with May Day and everyone else] and cheered at the appropriate time [I hope]. Then after that Ashin apologized to us for being late, and this is how it went:
阿信： 我也不想啊，因为我们喜欢你们啊.. (something along those lines, can't remember the exact words.)
Besides that, everyone was dripping with sweat, from both the heat and the excitement (like us jumping around). I guess the five of them on the stage were feeling hot too! So after a few songs, we realized that Masha's whole shirt was drenched in sweat and practically see through. So we were like '玛莎好性感！' Then Ashin was like 'Huh? 这里有没有人能讲国语？' Lol 'cos he couldn't understand what we were shouting, so he jokingly asked if anybody spoke Chinese [instead of the alienish gibish we were saying]. So some fans in front said '玛莎露点了！' So 阿信 was like '玛莎露点？' -Looks at Masha for a moment- '其实露两点还可以啊，要看他露三点。' So Masha pretend to take off his pants, but of course he didn't larh. So he said, '要看今晚跟我一起回房啊！'
While 阿信 was talking, 怪兽 and 玛莎 were standing together. So 阿信 was like 'huh?' and then realized that there was a fan there, so he joined them. (:
阿信 was damn sarcastic at one point in time, when he was talking about the lucky draw and the response was quite weak, so he said, '你们可以再冷漠一点，没问题..' Then of course, we screamed and yelled to prove him wrong. Haha we're like kids ah, eager to please.
Then 冠佑 flapped his arms around when he was asked what the next song was. 阿信thought it was funny, so he asked the question again, so the sporting 冠佑 repeated his actions. It's quite cute larh. I think it's in one of the videos below.
One of the funniest things that happened last night was 阿信 forgetting the lyrics of the song 忘词. I mean, it's ironic that he forgot the lyrics of the song that's called 'forgetting lyrics'? Or maybe he was just putting up an act. No idea. But it was funny! 'Cos we were like '忘词！' Then I read from the forum that people are waiting for him to write a song called '破音' or '走音'。LOL! In fact, he did 走音 while singing 倔强！Haha actually he sang wrongly quite a couple of times, and he did realize, 'cos he smiled his trademark smile..
Then came the autograph session. I should say, I was pretty excited. So when I went up, I said '加油喔！' or '六月二号见！' to all of them. Guan You shook my hand rather weakly and he didn't smile so I was quite sad/scared. Monster had a really firm grip! He just squeezed my hand and smiled at me, looking into my eyes for like 2 secs or so. For Masha, when I said '六月二号见！', he was like '好喔!' and I kind of echoed him and said '喔！' and he laughed at me. (: He's so friendly. When I reached Ashin, he had the auto pilot/stoned look, so when I said '六月二号见！', he LOOKED UP AT ME WITH HIS SUPER SINCERE EYES and said '嗯？' So I repeated myself. And he was like '哦..' Woah I was so freaked out/sad okay! I was really surprised I managed to keep my cool and not lost my head talking to 阿信。But once I was off the stage I saw Bernice and I was like 'OMG I shook hands with 阿信!' I think I was quite loud lah, but I hope he didn't hear me. 0.o Anyway, some of them shook my left hand (I think the first few), some shook my right. But I know 阿信 shook my left I think. Aiya don't know larh, everything happened so fast, I can't really recall much from yesterday, except that I really enjoyed myself and May Day rocked big time! I was really really high even till I reached home, which was quite early actually, around 10+. Didn't stay till the end, but I heard they signed till 11+! They even signed the original version. Sigh. If only I stayed on..
All in all.. 阿信 looked dreamy.. Half stoning throughout the whole auto session! But he looks really tall in real life, and from up close, his face is like 毫无瑕疵，very clean and smooth. No wonder he's the 代言 of perfumes and lipsticks. Haha. Stone and Guan You were practically stoning the whole way through larh! Only Monster and Masha seemed as if they were awake. :( Poor things. They must be tired.
Let the songs speak for themselves! But I have to add, they were super funny larh! Especially Ashin.
After yesterday, I love May Day even more than before! If that's even possible in the first place. -.- I thought it was impossible, and yesterday changed that.
(: Thanks to all the May Day fans I met yesterday for being so friendly and thus giving me such a wonderful experience! And the security guards.. Even though I was chased off repeatedly by you guys, I know what you all have done is necessary and really, it showed. We were quite orderly.. I think. Yayy May Day rocks! Catch them on TV tomorrow when they perform again for Ren Ci Charity. (:

Didn't have time to blog about anything so I just pasted a recent post in Achin's blog here. Haha.
Today is Achin's birthday! Happy Birthday dude! (: Was reading his posts, and he expressed there that his birthday wish is to have a smaller head. -.-
This first solo album, 梵谷的左耳, will be out on 16 March which is next week! Whee. Same day as Mayday's arrival in S'pore. (: I find the name of the album really funny, it's called Van Gogh's Left Ear. Tried listening to a sample of it on Achin's official website, and thought the song is rather nice.
I guess it was quite an experience for us. First day, our projects were judged, while on the second day, our booths were opened to the public for viewing.
Day One. Two judges came at 9+, which was quite early. We didn't even present our projects to the two of them. 0.o But they asked alot of questions, and I guess we kinda screwed it up? The two judges were pretty nice though, especially the female one. The guy couldn't understand us I think, and likewise, we didn't get him sometimes. Oops. Then from 10 till 2.30, we just sat on the steps of the stage mugging. I was revising QA, while Lijie Ling and She-kay were tackling Geog. Haha in the end all of us almost fell asleep. Somehow, I was quite excited and actually had fun memorizing all the QA stuffs! Haha. I devised some kind of method to remember my tables better. (: Whee. And after SPA today, I guess my intensive mugging really helped me alot! After the 3+ hrs of ChemQAing, I stuffed in just the right amount of knowledge in my brain to get through SPA. (: So while we were revising our for our tests, XinEr was happily watching Babel on her laptop. -.- Lucky her. But it was amusing cos she was quite put off by some rated scenes in the movie. Yeah then our last judge came after lunch at about 2.30, and despite her appearing quite strict, she's nice. So after that we just went home.
Day Two. Slacked for the whole afternoon. Nobody bothered to look at our booth, and we didn't really make an effort to look friendly and welcoming. The way the results were released was a little different from other competitions. There's this peach shirt guy going around pasting stickers with the award name on them. I think he was feeling very important, being the centre of attraction, as there was a huge group of people following him after people started to realize what he was doing. NJC was winning loads of awards ahhs! It's either they are pro, or they have some kind of winning formulae we do not know yet. (: Oh wells. Or maybe it's because their striking red blazers brought them good luck. (: Mr Lau is super nice lah! He helped us bring the posters back to school, even though it's not his responsibility. (: We had to say nice things to him though. Haha. (:
SIGHs. 5 more JianBaos, one philosophy essay, my CLE journal, the Chem FA, 3 Math worksheets to finsh by tomorrow morning. My life is sad.
