Life... is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. Unreturnable, because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So, you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. Sure, once in a while, there's a peanut butter cup, or an english toffee, but they're gone too fast, and the taste is...fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits filled with hardened jelly and teeth-shattering nuts. And if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you've got left is an empty box filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

We walked to Indoor Stadium from Kallang station, 'cos the bus stop was filled to the brim and buses to the stadium just zoomed past us, fully packed. =/
As usual, pre-concert highness took over me, and before I knew it I was blabbering non-stop. :D Wenyu was mildly irritated and somewhat exasperated with me, haha. Weren't you, 包公？XD
WY asked me which songs are nice in Achin's solo album. I went 'This, this, this, this (...) Basically everything! Oh, besides the last song' When she was about to pay, I said, 'Wait are you sure or not? Are you really really sure? Think twice! Reconsider!'
WY: Oh shit should I buy? You're making me change my mind!
ME: But buying CD is not about what others say to you, or how persuasive others are. It's a feeling, y'know, an attachment and emotional bond to the CD. It's like love at first sight. What I say counts nothing. You shouldn't listen to me, 'cos I may be biased. (...) In the end, it's totally up to you.
I think the Popular guys were torn between cursing me and laughing, but chose to laugh instead. WY, of course, was driven to madness by my ahem 'philosophical' talk. She told me 'I am beginning to find you irritating!' =/
Then at the table selling the concert merchandise, I picked up a pamphlet and then asked a woman manning the store,
ME: Uhm what's the price of the badge set? -slight pause-
WY: It's here! -points to the pamphlet
ME: Oh wait never mind it's here! :D
-Walked to the other side and picked up a necklace set-
WY: I seriously think it's not worth the money
ME: -still fingering the necklace deliberately- No lah I'm just putting the pieces back in their original position. Trying to be nice, you know. -while stuffing one particular piece into the small dent in the styrofoam that held it-
And then those people at the merchandise stall laughed at me. 0.0
WY: YX! I think you are too high already! You are becoming crappy!!! -exasperated-
ME: [recurring line(s)] High? I'm not high at all. I am cool and composed. I WILL NOT BE HIGH FOR THE WHOLE CONCERT. Except singing Get High. (...) I am very calm. Very 冷靜。 I don't feel excited at all. Seriously! I am really really 冷靜。 Can't you see? -the stage came into view- (threw away all my fake pretense) OMG!!!!!!! DO YOU SEE THAT!!!!!!!!
When the lights finally dimmed at 8.30pm, I let out a series of screams, then realized that I was the only one showing any sign of excitement in my entire section. =.= Ah I guess people pay an extra hundred for a better atmosphere. :D (Gah I hate latecomers! If it's not because of them the concert would have started in time)

其實看到他們的第一個反應就是，詹雯婷和黃漢青都變了，長大了，成熟了。尤其是黃漢青，猶如脫胎換骨，和剛出道時那面黃肌瘦頭染紅髮的小子相比，簡直是另外一個人。現在的他戯稱自己是“肌肉沁”，頭髮還是一樣的標新立異 - 銀藍色。而詹雯婷呢，像是蝴蝶破蛹而出。她瘦了許多，也漂亮了，不再是那個羞澀、容易卻場、不太會説話的小女孩。可是她還是很天真，很純樸，很大大喇喇。I love her radiant smile. :D

WY realized that it was 第一天 before I did. She totally yelled at me: 第一天！第一天！第一天！！！
Comprehension dawning upon me, I SCREAMED and SCREAMED and dragged WY by her hands and we both stood up, despite the fact that all the rest of the people at my block were sitting down.
The whole stadium totally erupted with screams and synchronized singing/jumping. 第一次讓我感覺到比Jam出場時得到的尖叫聲與歡呼聲還要高。全場幾乎是在失控和瘋狂狀態中。OMG how I adore this song! Collaboration between two of my favourite bands???!!! (Plus Stef Sun, I know. But I don't care about her so.) After finished singing the song once through, I asked WY if she wanted to go down to the railings. She agreed, so we went down and joined three other fans (so sad right only 5 of us out of 100 plus people at my section) in front. :D _____________________________________

Last song. 我們的愛。Well technically this ain't the last song, because they couldn't have missed out Lydia. That's their 成名曲。Like 志明與春嬌/軋車/瘋狂世界 Or 頻率。But anyway. We sat next to the steps (Those people behind us finally spoke up and asked us to sit down 'cos they couldn't see. But the thing is, who sits down during a rock concert? Okay, it's pop-rock. So what? It's still a concert and a concert ain't a concert if everyone just sits down. Swaying and waving lightsicks vigorously while ROOTED TO THE SEAT is, strictly speaking, still sitting. Which I did. But it was far from gratifying.). Synchronized singing once again. (I've always amused myself with the idea that synchronized is similar to community singing haha.)
Faye almost cried a think! (: I could sense that she was on the verge of breaking down, but she held back her tears. Well I would certainly have cried if she sang 北極圈。(And I'm betting she would, too.) _____________________________________
The musicians played the 前奏 of Lydia，and then the three of them appeared again, wearing a different set of clothes. I jumped up and stood for the whole song!!! :D _____________________________________
6. Took the shuttle bus from the stadium to Yio Chu Kang. Most people left at AMK, and only 4 people were left at the lower deck. Scared the hell outta me, because I couldn't recognize any street in the dark with all the shops closed! And the bus just rumbled on and on and on... Luckily I had my trusty mp3 with me, and my extensive supply of F.I.R. songs, demos, blah.
7. When Faye was thanking the sponsors, it was apparent that she listened to her ear piece and repeated after whoever was talking on the other end. 'Cos I don't believe she has such a great memory. Even if she has the brain capacity, she'll be better off remembering other more important things. Like... lyrics to Thank You.
