Yo Ho! Pirates' back in town! (: That reminds me, this is the reason why I hate Spiderman and Shrek so much.

So went to watch in Lido yesterday. Managed to drag Huimin the Johnny Depp hater along as well. (: But sadly, her opinion of him has not changed, though I seriously think that she hates him mostly because of me. Oh wells. Huimin is such a huge bully.

As much as I would love to praise the movie for its complexity and cleverly crafted plot, I was disappointed. Of course, it's still worth watching at least three more times as well as paying another 30 odd bucks for a DVD, I am not that enthusiastic about the movie [or the ending]. Shit, must be because I'm a Jack/Liz [Sparrabeth] shipper, but whatever it is, the movie is certainly not as comical as the previous one. DMC was such a ball of fun, I had a great time watching and rewatching it in the cinemas. As for At World's End [when did they add the apostrophe to the original title - At Worlds End?], I don't even find it as funny as Spiderman III. Hello? A spidey movie which is not supposed to be all that funny is more hilarious than a movie that's supposed to bring comic relief? ZZZ. And have I said it before, that the ending sucks? My ship, as it seems, has just sunk [See the sidebars for my ships]. Poor Jack! In the end, he was left with nothing, back in square one, not far from his state in the beginning of POTC:CotBP. I guess that's what T and T said about a full arc. But he doesn't deserve it yo! He was such a hero in AWE! He saved Will from his death and Liz from Davy Jones' ship. And what did he get in the end? A dingy! And loneliness. Poor guy.

I'll continue tomorrow. ZZZ. Haha spent too much time reading Jack/Liz threads, reading Jack/Liz fanfics and watching Jack/Liz fanvids. The only way to make me feel better..

Gah. Not a good.. Idea! The fanvids make me feel even worse, if that's possible. -Cries-

I don't want to be to harsh on POTC, because no matter what, I'm still a fan.

I love Johnny Depp. I love Jack Sparrow. I love POTC [Yes, AWE included]. I love the epic feel to pirates. I love the brilliant lines which were executed almost perfectly. I love the soundtracks. But I love Sparrabeth too! Which is why, I don't know what to feel now.

HOIST THE COLOURS! (: Love that song. Just like how much I love He's a Pirate, The Medallion Calls in the first movie, and Jack Sparrow, The Kraken, Davy Jones, Wheel of Fortune in the second. As for AWE's OSTs, they actually have more of a grand feel to it.. Especially Drink Up Me Hearties, which I find saddening. Maybe I am thinking of what could have been for Jack/Liz, that's why.

Jack! He was such a hero in AWE, he saved Will and Elizabeth, even though we know that he really really wanted to be the captain of Flying Dutchman. In one tiny Sparrabeth scene, he was so concerned with Elizabeth when they saw her dad on the boat.

PIRATES! Woots. Jack is classic, an icon of today.

Don't break us Sparrabethers' hearts again, TnT, if there were to be a forth movie. Where is all the shippiness that could be seen in CotP? And DMC's vexed Jack? Don't just assume everyone will forget the compass scenes. Zzz. I think I am not making much sense.

I feel like crying now. In need of some waffles and Sparrabeth love. :(
