Today we got our papers back. It wasn't that bad, in fact it was a pretty okay result considering how much effort I actually put in. Anyway, Frog was there haha. [The cells! woohoo! I am so not washing my hands after this.] It was quite fun, just slacking behind and not caring about all the stuff the teachers were trying to say to the 400+ of us. I shall not moan about my GPA though. What a great favour I am doing to everyone. (: I, however, is concerned about my sciences and my Math. What a great screw up those were. Oh and my Options. I still have absolutely no idea what I should take in term 4. Dangg. I am indecisive. I'll take ages just to figure out what amount to put for which options, and by then there'll be no more space left for me. YAY.

I am pretty concerned/disturbed/irritated/annoyed about the comparison between Ashin and this guy from Shanghai called 俞思远. Saw him pretty regularly on TV when I was in China last year, because there was such heavy advertising for 天地英雄校园群英会 (whenever I opened the TV and switched to this particular entertainment channel, the ad would appear), and apparently he was singing 知足 and wearing black specs. I can still remember the Ad and the exact words he said. That says something. Ah Kenji Wu was there too haha. Then, saw him with his band BIZ on 哈比七点档, so he left quite an impression on me. Before that, I thought he was okay, but after the progamme, I thought he was kind of vain and lofty. I don't know. He acted so unconcerned and stoned throughout, not bothering to answer questions from the hosts, and did not even crack a smile at all. So naturally I took him as an 'act cool dude'. On another day, saw Ashin on the same programme with Pin Guan. Even though Ashin looked really tired and kind of lonely without his other bandmates, at least he didn't 耍大牌, and willingly played some games with the host, managing a joke at times. Can you see the difference in attitude? I know 俞思远 was sick that day, but so what? Ashin is, obviously, much more famous than him, but can you see Ashin's 诚意？Can you find that in 俞思远? What's more, there has always been a comparison between him and Ashin (as well as Shin who just went solo). The similarities are pretty obvious. He looks like Ashin (and Shin), he sings like one, he's called 包子 (like Ashin), he became famous by singing MayDay's songs (like 拥抱、温柔、知足、恋爱ING), he idolizes MayDay. What's so infuriating is that the judges of the talent contest he was in said that his abilities were much more superior than Shin and Ashin. I mean hello! Alright he may be great (though I seriously doubt so). His songs are pretty okay. For all I know, he may be a wonderful person. But look at him! Does he give you the kind of 感动that a rock band brings? Does he promote peace and love? Is he even remotely close to his idol in terms of personality? If the answer is no, then quit comparing him with Ashin! (Or even Shin, wth.) They are two very different people, therefore it's not fair to say one is better than the other. Of course I like Ashin much more than 思远, but that doesn't make 思远 less of a singer/rocker than Ashin. Or vise versa. Seriously. Some judges need to think before they speak (Ahh.. That makes me a hypocrite. I don't think when I speak. So yeah.). They are just creating tension between fans. Most MayDay fans are peace loving folks by the way. Most of us don't go around looking for trouble. It's often critics who give fans the reason to bash each other up.
