Haven't blogged for a quite a while, yeah?

Just back from Student Leaders' Investiture.

Normally on such occasions, I will be really high. Important school functions = No lessons for the day = Slack!, even if it is just a few hours of break from our hectic schedules. Some may view it as a waste of time, but for me, I will try my best to enjoy whatever the organizing committee presents to us.

Anyway. Back to SLI. From the Prefects' Investiture we have seen from our lower secondary years, evolution apparently occurred and brings us what we see now. Being on a high, I kind of cheered for everyone I know, and even people I don't know personally. XinEr is really popular in school, as seen from the amount of applause and cheering people gave for her, which was tremendous. It is astonishing how someone can gain so much support from a community, when what he/she is doing is not a pleasant thing for everyone. Is it the charisma usually associated with celebrities and political figures? 0.o Ahh I am rubbishing again.

The hijack skit was okay I guess, although I find it dots at times. Since I knew most of the lines before today (thanks to Sarah and Shuyu), the entertainment value was not there anymore. The SPSLs dance was quite impressive, so was the Sec4 prefects dance. Xiner and Bird looked really cool I think! Haha. Pingfang looked so clueless and stony as compared to, say, Sherrie and Vivian. X) Besides that, the other performances did not leave any impression on me at all.

You know, how opinions about people change over time? Yeah. After today, I have completely changed my views about someone. (: Really, all those days I had misunderstood her and her intentions, but now I think everyone is right about her. She is really not half as bad as I thought, but tons better than what I am.

That really reminds me of last year's SYF Closing Ceremony (I think). I went with Jasmine and her class and then ended up sitting with this girl I have seen around but up to this day, do not know her name. She actually offered me her food and was really friendly to me. I was touched by her actions! I mean how many people actually take the initiative to say hello to a neighbour or offer their seats, let alone offering chocolates and biscuits to someone practically a stranger to them?

Saw Lau Zhang today. He was invited to SLI as a guest. 0.o Wasn't surprised, though. Then when we were cheering the school cheers, he and his friends were LOUD. Haha. Enthu peeps. (:

After school went to eat lunch at Lido with the rest. Me and dick were sort of scolded by a security guard because we carried our food through an empty space in front of the box office supposedly for people to queue up to buy tickets. But whatever! Nobody was there please. At that hour. And the reason we carried the food there was that I wanted to see the Johnny Depp autograph [yes, again] near the box office and it was the shortest path from the autograph to our seats. -.- Kena scolded for such stuffs.

Love the pool map of counter strike! After playing all the bomb maps and hostage rescue maps like de_dust, cs_mansion, cs_italy, cs_office, cs_military and de_train, the fy maps are a welcome change. It's smaller, easier to navigate around, and you just shoot at people. Simple. I think I have mastered (kind of) the easy mode of fy_pool_day. Tried out a couple of custom maps found online as well. The de_rat map was dots because you will find out the CPU players' weakness - not able to climb ladders. -.- They will climb the ladder the opposite direction from where they are supposed to climb, so that will get them nowhere at all. So you'll see 5-6 CPU players jumping and attemping to climb that darn ladder, and none of them peabrainers actually tried from the other side. -.- CPU players are dumb. Dang. So maps like de_rat have to be played among humans.

Tired from all the CSing and FMing. What an unproductive day.
