Anyway. Today NPCC was cancelled, and after a ten-minutes briefing regarding next week's rafting, Yan, Lynette, Ling and I went Scotts to have lunch. The three of us, except Ling, had Pasta Mania. Ling had her dumplings.
Anyway, I wanted to go to this CD shop at the basement, and so we all went there. While browsing through the DVDs, this Leonardo DiCapiro show called Gangs of New York caught me attention. So while bending down to take a good look saw this From Hell DVD right beside it. I flash of recognition hit me, and I picked up the DVD, one of Johnny Depp's many movies! I was extremely excited ok, because it really looked nice and dark, and the price seemed reasonable. [Actually I don't care, I just want to watch the movie] So you can understand how crushed I was when one of the workers there pointed out to me it's M18. Totally saddened, we left the shop. Then Lynette was suggesting about me going up to some random adult to ask him/her to help me buy. After discussing for a long while, we decided to have a shot. So Lynette and I walked up to a Malay female and asked her if she would do it for us (me), and she looked so shocked/bewildered and hurriedly walked off, with a incredulous expression on her face, making us looked like total fools. Her boyfriend glared at us as they went off. Freaky experience. I decided to give up and put my trust on either Linlin, for her to grow older soon to reach 18, or on Joycelyn, who's so willing to help me! Thank you very much, Joycelyn! You rock!
Yeah. What an experience, right? So after that Yan came over and we Auditioned. After that, I went for my dental appointment, and ended up crapping alot with one of the nice ladies working there. We talked about absolutely everything kay! She really kept me entertained through the wait. We talked about chinese orchestra (she was in CO too in her school days, and her kids are in CO as well), politics, education systems, life, parenting and so on. Extremely delightful experience. After that, during the checkup, I was laughing my way through. Hehh. I am in a good mood hehe.
After I reached home and went on MSN, Alice told me her friend just (like today) recieved a Johnny Depp autograph! I was so so so amazed, and still am. GOSH. JOHNNY DEPP K. LIKE THE BESTEST GUY IN THE WORLD. oops. Yeah he was really nice and gave me many tips on how to get an autograph from him too. Hmm. Shall try tomorrow. I'll get the stamps after school. Or overturn the house. Hmm.
I think Octopus [totally NOT related to Nancy] is actually quite an amazing person. Octie is really really nice, as I found out today. Maybe I should not be so biased towards Oct.
On the other hand. ZZ is nice as well. Mm since last week? And today just confirmed it.
Hehh.
Tomorrow is teachers' day. For some reason, I am feeling exceedingly excited about it. Maybe because of all the fun Sec1 teachers' day brought about. Yeah to Tian Xia Suo You de Lao Shi (To each and every teacher in our tiny island), HAPPY (early) TEACHERS' DAY! (: Remember, I said it first.
