I am halfway through my Thailand travel log, but now I am too lazy to finish it off.
So now. First week of school! Already I am feeling the homework piling up at my table and the stress is back. I've got a Math test in two days' time. A history test coming up. And A Math test in week 3. Bio PT is due in week 3 too, so is our hssrp project draft report. AND. If I am not wrong, we'll be getting another 7 more pts this term or next. Since the only project we've finished is Math, we'll be submitting Bio and Chinese PT soon, and there'll be History, Social Studs, English, Chem, Physics. And most probably a A Math project as well. This is so great. Like I can survive this.
NPCC. The year end camp seems fun. I can't wait. (:
Oh. We have a new bio teacher. More about him later.
SYF opening ceremony! I went. I actually spent my whole afternoon+night there. Sigh. Me and Crystal changed places. So I went with the 308-312s and Jasmine while crystal went with my class and Gladys they all. It just happened that our new Bio teacher went with my group. Oh. He's called MRTee or Tea or Justea or Tee Shirt.. But T is short and sweet. So it's T. Yeah. When our bus reached the place, it was so coincidental that his ex-school was there too! It's called Beatty Sec or sth. We were rather surprised when his ex-pupils screamed his name and went forward to shake hands with him and talk to him.. Didn't expect him to be so popular. Maybe he's kind of nice, if we get to know him better. Oh wells. Then we walked across a bridge, and Jas exclaimed that it reminded her of x-men3. Ya'll know, the Golden Bridge (sth like that) scene.. Real cool! (I am Magneto. Join my Brotherhood! (:) Yep. So we walked past a construction site and we saw some guys smoking. Sighh. SMOKING IS BAD FOR HEALTH! IF YOU WANT TO LIVE LONGER, THEN SAY NO TO SMOKING. haha. When we reached there we were again seated right next to Beatty Sec. I think MrT felt rather ji1 dong4. So did the students. I mean if I were to see erm Dustbin? around, I MIGHT have behaved the same way. Might.
The whole thing is rather boring. I was rather amused by the dance coordinator, though. I think it's because the dance moves are better suited for ladies, and he just looked weird dancing those steps. We took a pic of him dancing. Haha. Oh. It was so hot, the place. I was practically burning. The coke did make me feel a little better, but it was hot. And I hate coke. I finished my first bootle of water even before reaching our seats. The military band competition was quite fun I think. Not bad. Oh. I like the parade! NPCC GOHs totally rock. Haha. Go NPCC! There are so many NP contingents! Oh and I saw a police officer! He looks really smart in the uniform. A person almost fainted during the parade, and was escorted out. Back to the military band comp. TKS was really creative in their formations. I think Deyi's major was good tho. And yep, those people won the best team and best major award respectively. Great job! Oh. The girl seated beside me was nice! She offered us food to eat! (: Such friendly people around! Certainly brightened up my day a bit.
Leaving the place. Two guys were really rather irritating. They walked beside us, and said rather loudly 'raffles is such a lousy school' blaa blaa blaa. Their school mates were talking behind our backs quite obviously as well, because I could catch snatches of 'raffles' here and there from their conversations. It was not like one or two students. Our group, X837, was surrounded by a sea of people from their school. Me and Jas were like 'Whatever!'. Just at that tine, two of them looked into the bag of a girl in front of us. (supposedly. Cos I did not see it happen) What i did catch was MrT saying rather loudly/sternly, 'HEY! Mind your own business'. Cool. That was the coolest thing he said so far, after three lessons with him. I did not have a good opinion of him at first, after his 'mind own business', I thought of T slightly bettter. At least he's willing to stand up for us. Which is quite rare to see. I was quite certain that after that, all the mutterings stopped. (:
So on the bus back home, Jas and I were discussing about CO and stuff, and we got rather depressed. We got our cards signed (luckily mrT did not realize that I am not Crystal Lee Zi Jun), and returned the red bandanas the school provided us with, then dismissed outside school. Jas thought I was over-sensitive. In fact, she thought most of us are overly sensitive over some stuffs. Yeah. Ok. I admit. Maybe I am.
So we ate ice cream and old chang kee at toh payoh hub. Three people asked us for directions today! I must have looked really knowledgeable and friendly enough! (:
Went home in Jas's car as usual. When we stopped by my block, she was pointing at something behind me. I was quite blur at that hour, and did not manage to understand what she meant. Apparently this couple was kissing at the busstop. I didn't know. I thought the girl was having a stomach cramp and the guy was comforting her. Ok. I am slow. Sort of.
Sighh. Shall start mugging math, do rs and bio pt. My life looks more and more depressing by each day.
