haven't really been blogging these days. in fact, not exactly using the com too. was jotting down my thoughts in my nice little notebook. so yeah...this place is becoming decomposed. rats, spiders, lizards...everywhere. -ahem- freaky.
it's halfway through holidays now. haven't been doing much...but for the past week was actually trying to enjoy myself. zhengpei came to my house last week. Lend me this set of vcds called Good Luck (meng xiang qi fei in chinese). we watched madagascar on the same day. wan't really a good movie, maybe the kids would like it...was actually pretty boring. so, looking forward to mr and mrs smith...-sighz-today is its first day of screening...yayz. wish it'll top the box office.
as for Good Luck...totally rockkks it man. much much better than madagascar or any other drama serials. it's this jdorama, about pilots, cabin attendence and staff members of ANA (which is a japan airlines).
yeah the main character guy, shinkai hajime, (acted out by takuya kimura) is a young/new co-pilot in ANA. He's may not be the best/smartest in his batch, but he's the most popular, since he's rather helpful, nice and understanding, quite stubbon...he's quite funny too. yup. he love his job, love the sky. His dream is to become a pilot. at first he hated this senior pilot called koda, cause he couldn't stand koda's "strictness" and "meaness". but afterwards they were almost like senior/junior, mentor/student. ^^ Shinkai even tried to help him, and in a later episode, he actually managed to stop koda from resigning. very touching, that part. but they still often get into conflicts...*spoilers* he broke his leg in the 8th episode. -i think- oh yes he like this mechanic gal called ogawa. yarh. sweet couple. -> 29 yrs old.
koda kazuki: zhengpei and i called him meanie. he was protrayed as a very strict, cold, serious, and almost "heartless" guy, at the start. An exacting taskmaster since an incident 12 years ago, (which changed him and his life) he never played favourites, hence many people hated him. he's super mean towards togashi...-tsk tsk- he's very serious about his work though. he used to work as a pilot in some export/import company (hmm i guess...i maybe wrong tho...), but after the incident, a senior decided to invite him to join ANA. he's a very good pilot, and before the incident (i shall not say what happened during the incident), he was almost like shinkai. but well, he changed so mcuh after the incident. for months after the incident, he refused to go into the cockpit. poor guy. heiz. but he isn't your usual bad guy character, in fact you'll grow to like him increasingly (like me!!!). he's nice, alright. ^^ the ending part it's super touching and funny!!! haha shall not say anymore. -> 40 yrs old.
Ogawa Ayumi: the mechanic gal, as what zhengpei and i like to call her. she's somewhat like koda, icy and cold, pouts all the time. but she's sort of nice larhz, and chio. she never flew on a plane before, until the very last episode. and that's beause of an incident 12 yrs ago. koda was rather nice to her, but she did not know why. she finds koda quite nice. haha. but little did she know that it was that incident which brought them together. koda pitied her, felt sorry for her. heiz poor thing. and she became a mechanic for ANA was also linked to the incident. yuppz. she and shinkai are a couple. she can be really sarcastic. Lol. -> 24 yrs old.
Togashi Noriko: she's super nice. haha. treats shinkai very well, just like a younger brother. yay.-> 38 yrs old.
Naito Jane: super funny guy!!! he's born and raised in america, divorced thrice. is a huge flirt. but he's super weird and funny. we call him the weirdo. lolz. he's just sooo...weird and hilarious!!! he's pretty nice towards shinkai. yay. lightens the whole plot up. -> 45 yrs old.
then there's shinkai's friend (Azumi Ryujiro. fellow c0-pilot.), ogawa's sister, shinkai's dad (a stubbon man. shinkai walked out of his house when he was in high school), shinkai's younger bro (he's featured in waterboys. lol), Ota Kenzaburo (the guy in charge of CAs), Pak Mee Suk (shinkai's neighbour. always mistaken him for siu zhen. Lol.), and the despo gal (Fukaura Urara. she likes shinkai. oh and she's a new CA.)
this show's very inspirational and educational. a must-watch!!! yup yup.
