It didn't feel like SYF at all. It was like some rehearsal or something. But when they were announcing, I started noticing the audience and everything, and realised YES IT WAS SYF. I was like shivering for the first half of Xing Kong before I reminded myself to put in gan qing into the song. Later on it dint feel that bad anymore but we still screwed up quite badly larh. Wang laoshi's face was like damn pissed but according to Mindy, she was liddat the previous syf too. =X

The 15 minutes on stage was over very quickly. To tell the truth I was quite disappointed with our performance. I cried. Alot of other people cried too. I think the reason we cried wasn't because we wanted gold with honours, but cos we all felt that it wasn't our best and we could have done alot more better.

Just before results was announced, everyone was just squeezing each other's hand so tightly. "Raffles Girls' School - Gold." The expected reaction would most probably be the whole of rgco jumping around and screaming their heads off.. but it was just silence. Like what Jingxuan said in her blog, I just didnt know what to feel. I kinda remained emotionless until I went back to school. Section dinner definitely helped cheer me up alot. Without the dinner I think I'll still be half dead.

The 'Gold with honours' idea is bad. We used to be veh happy to get gold. But with the 'gold with honours', 'gold' just dint seem to be the best anymore and I guess deep down everyone hoped for honours.
